Salomon Shogun
Not to be confused with the skis of the same name, the Salomon Shogun ski boots are Salomon’s newest version of the Salomon Ghost. With the same, great two-buckle shell technology that the Salomon Ghost was loved for, the Salomon Shogun offers a softer version for lighter skiers. The incredible shell technology gives the wearer of these boots precision and ease on the slopes. Solomon Shogun features sensitive head-moldable liners so you have a custom and precise liner for your boot. The double dismantable canting of the Salomon Shogun enables full cuff removal so you can have your boots custom fitted at any ski shop. In addition to a great shell technology, the Salomon Shogun also has a shock-absorbing footboard that allows you to make for softer landings.
The majority of reviewers who have purchased a pair of Salomon Shogun boots agreed that this was an extremely comfortable boot, especially in comparison to previous experiences with other ski boot brands. Many reviewers also noted that the two-buckle system was very convenient for walking to and from the car onto the slopes. Most reviewers agree that the Salomon Shogun boots are best for narrow feet. One reviewer noted he has particularly wide feet and had a hard time adjusting to the boot. He was, however, able to get used to the fit of the boot and once the discomfort was fixed, the reviewer said he thoroughly enjoyed using the boot. Another reviewer claimed he had wide feet, but once he used the custom-moldable lining, the boots fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable.
